Truck and Tractor Pull
Rules and Exhibitor Information

Tractor Pull

Tuesday, August 6, 2024, 7 p.m.

Registration starts at 6 p.m.

LIKE LAST YEAR, THE TRACTOR PULL WILL RUN WITH THE TRUCK PULL.

 

General Rules:

1. Driver and ONE pit helper have free admission.

ALL other persons entering at track entrance MUST purchase a $30 Pit Pass.

 

2. No double entry.

3. Any parts or weights on track after pull will result in disqualification.

4. All pulls must start from tight hitch. No slack chain or jerking.

5. Unsafe operation of any kind will result in disqualification.

6. Rules or classes of pull are subject to change by tractor pulling officials.

7. Must pull in your respective class or you will be moved to the proper class.

8. Minimum of three tractors to run the class.

9. Decisions of judge are final.

10. Absolutely NO ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES allowed.

Tractor Classes: (Pull order and classes are subject to change.)

1. 6000 Enhanced Farm Stock – small tire (15.5” x 38” max tire size)

2. 6000 Enhanced Farm Stock – big tire (18.4” x 38” max tire size)

 

3. 6000 V-8 (18.4" x 38" max tire size)

4. 6000 Open (18.4” x 38” max tire size)

5. 7000 Enhanced Farm Stock – small tire (15.5” x 38” max tire size)

6. 7000 Enhanced Farm Stock – big tire (18.4” x 38” max tire size)

7. 7000 V-8 (18.4” x 38” max tire size)

 

8. 7000 Open (18.4” x 38” max tire size)

9. 12,000 Off the Farm

10. 15,000 Off the Farm

Entry Fee: $20 per tractor per class

Off Farm/Enhanced Premiums (based on more than three entries per class):

1st - $110   2nd - $80  3rd  - $50    4th  - $30

Trophies will be awarded to first place drivers.

 

ENHANCED FARM STOCK RULES

1. 20” hitch height

2. Cut tires allowed

3. A tractor may register for only 2 classes

4. Tractor must be equipped with wheelie bars

5. Hitch plates to have 3” hole; minimum distance from hole to back of plate is 1”

Truck Pull

Like last year, the Tractor Pull will run with the Truck Pull

  General Rules:

  1. Driver and ONE pit helper have free admission.

  ALL other persons entering at track entrance MUST purchase a $30 Pit Pass.

​  2. Driver will be disqualified if there are any parts or weights on track from truck after pull.

  3. Minimum drawbar length is 36’’ from center of rear wheel to point of hitch.

  4. Drawbar is to be stationary and rigid in all directions.

  5. Maximum height from top of hitching device to ground is 26’’.

  6. Maximum time limit once the boat is ready is 3 minutes.

  7. Valid driver’s license is required.

  8. All weights must be securely fastened on pulling vehicle.

  9. Only one person is allowed in pulling vehicle while on track.

  10. No portion of truck may interfere with sled or sled hitch during pull.

  11. No dual wheels are permitted unless factory installed.

  12. Truck must stay inside of pulling lines or markers.

  13. Machine must be started straight. NO slack chain or jerking allowed.

   14. No weights in cab.

  15. Snowplow frame is allowed.

  16. Minimum of three trucks to run class.

  17. Decisions of judge are FINAL.

  18. Absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES allowed.

  Truck Classes: (Pull order and classes are subject to change.)

  1. 6200 lbs Street Stock 4x4

  2. 6200 lbs Open Class 4x4

  3. 8000 lbs Street Legal Diesel 4x4

  4. 6800 lbs Street Stock 4x4

  5. 6800 lbs Open Class 4x4

  6. 8000 lbs Diesel Open Class 4x4

  7. Semis Street Legal

  Entry Fee: $20 per truck per class

  Premiums (based on more than three entries per class):

  1st - $160   2nd - $110  3rd - $80  4th - $50

  Trophies will be awarded to first place drivers.

   

 

  STREET LEGAL RULES

  1. Weight Classes are 6200 and 6800 lbs

  2. D.O.T. approved tires

  3. One single four-barrel carburetor or smaller

  4. No special fuel such as Nitro

  5. Weight must be in truck box

  6. No uncapping of headers and mufflers

  7. Mufflers, hood, doors and fenders required

  8. No block or solid suspension

  9. Current inspection sticker and registration

  OPEN CLASS RULES

  1. Weight classes are 6200 and 6800 lbs

   2. Truck pulling tires or tractor type tire permitted

  3. Only one four-barrel carburetor

  4. No special fuel such as Nitro

  5. Weights may not extend more than 60’’ from center line of front axle

  6. Wheelbase not to exceed 133’’

  7. Break away switch required

  8. HELMET REQUIRED

  8000 LBS OPEN DIESEL 4X4 TRUCK RULES

  1. D.O.T approved tires

  2. No nitrous or propane

  3. Weights must be fastened securely

  4. Weights may not exceed more than 60’’ from the center line of the front axle

  5. Factory frame at factory length with factory body

  6. HELMET REQUIRED

8000 LBS. STREET DIESEL 4X4 TRUCK RULES:

1. All trucks competing in this class must:

       a. Be stock in appearance - floor in bed must be solid.

       b. Be powered by diesel engine - diesel fuel only.

       c. Have state Registration identification for highway use.

       d. Be licensed for highway use in that state.

       e. Have a license plate attached to the vehicle.

       f. The registration identification and license plate must match.

      g. Have a wheelbase as manufactured - no alterations to the wheelbase.

2. No studded tires, tire chains or any tires not specifically intended for street use are permitted. Tires must carry a D.O.T. number on the sidewall. No cut or grooving allowed. Maximum tire size 12.5" x 36" or equivalent metric size. Tire size must be molded on the tire.

3. Weights are permitted only in the bed of the vehicle. Weights must be secured to prevent sliding around in the bed. No weight bars allowed.

4. Diesel engines must have been originally intended for pickup truck use. Single turbocharger only permitted. No nitrous, propane, or water injection allowed. Programmers and chips are allowed.

5. Turbocharges must be in in the original location and must be the O.E.M. turbo for the engine intended by the manufacturer No mounting plate adapters or plumbing changes allowed for high output turbos. No ball bearing turbos. No aftermarket turbos whatsoever.

6. The vehicle and vehicle driveline being used (including the front and rear axles, clutch, transmission, and driveshaft)  must have been originally produced for diesel engine truck use.

7. The vehicle must have a working suspension, front and rear, is required. No blocked (solid) suspensions allowed. Must have frame for make and model of vehicle.

8. Exhaust may be other than factory. Stacks are allowed. The engine and radiator must be in the original location, as produced by the manufactured. All engine fans must be shrouded.

9. The hitch point must be stationary in all directions. A clevis or reese type hitch with a three- inch hole is required. No pulling from the bumper. The hook point must be the furthest point to the back of the truck.

10. Snowplow mounting brackets are allowed - no plow blades.

11. All body parts must remain inside the cab of the truck when competing.
